Heavy Metal in the 90's was arguably equally as exciting as 80's Heavy Metal. We had the amazing second wave of Black Metal, newcomers to the Neoclassical Heavy Metal scene and some great underground Death Metal or simply, bands changing their sound and rocking out a bit more. Swordmaster, Borislav Mitic, George Bellas, Carcass, Crucifer, Algaion, Emperor, Dissection, Abigor and Parnassus are but a small sampling of 90's gems.
